They say that with the first town hall in New Amsterdam the Dutch brought bowling, cookies, and oil paintings to the new world — along with an unbridled sense of optimism and mischief. Now, New York’s flagship beer experience can stand as a monument to the Dutch masters of cask and the New Amsterdam that fostered its global expansion, starting from that first raucous Pier Party. A contemporary interpretation of a New New Amsterdam, built on the same principles: imagination, innovation and guts, in a historic building with a storied past all its own.
